Wire drawing is the first step in producing fine-strand conductors. We draw copper rod through a series of precision dies, progressively reducing diameter until we reach the target gauge. In-house drawing means we control the copper quality, the die geometry, and the annealing process — so the wire we strand and jacket starts from a known, controlled input. It also lets us produce non-standard gauges and custom alloys that aren't available off-the-shelf.
